Exceptional and Unparalleled Coating Uniformity

MICROGRAVURE™ made its presence known in the display industry nearly 40 years ago. Ever since then, it is the most relied upon coating technology in Japan to deliver the highest quality optical-grade display films in the industry. MIRWEC Coating can handle aqueous to solvent based solutions at desktop, pilot and production-scale applications, and our state-of-the-art ovens are capable of drying the sensitive surfaces of optical-grade display films to customer satisfaction.

Display Applications

The anti-glare coating is achieved by suspending microparticles or nanoparticles in the hardcoat layer.
One of the largest film manufacturers in Japan developed their AR film using MICROGRAVURE™ coating technology.
Yasui Seiki’s sister company, Labo Japan, partnered with the largest optical film manufacturer in Japan
Hardcoat film comprises UV curable coatings deposited onto optically clear films, such as polyester (PET), polycarbonate (PC) and cyclo olefin polymer (COP) films.
In general, the low reflectivity film is produced by coating one to two layers of anti-reflective coatings onto clear hardcoat film.
The optically clear adhesives (OCA) are one of the vital components of display devices, such as smartphones and tablets.
The transparent conductive films are created by coating conductive inks.
