Precision Slot Die Coating for OCA
The optically clear adhesives (OCA) are one of the vital components of display devices, such as smartphones and tablets, and are applied between the cover glass and the sensor components. The two main types of OCA are acrylic and silicone adhesives, and both are coated with slot die or knife coating methods. Generally, the OCA is coated onto a release film, then laminated with another release film with different release properties. The thickness of OCA layer reaches up to 100 microns.
