Solid State Battery Casting and Coating

As one of the industry wide efforts to improve safety and performance of li-ion batteries, the R&D for the roll-to-roll casting and coating of solid state batteries has been in higher demand these past several years. Yasui Seiki and its sister company Labo have been supporting many companies, laboratories and universities in Japan and in the US, in their effort to cast or coat, a few microns up to 100 micron thick ceramic or solid polymer materials to manufacture anode, cathode and solid electrolyte for the solid state batteries.
